We discovered that Wealth-Data had missed a good number of special dividend adjustments over the last several weeks.
Now is a good time to refresh your Wealth-Data for 2024, or at least be sure that you "Allow Data Corrections.." in the Preferences (F12) > Data so that they're automatically applied.

In the effort to keep Wealth-Data backtest data closer to the actual traded prices, I removed the adjustment for AABA's $51.50 special dividend near the end of the AABA.20191002.A data series on 9/24/2019. Consequently, this will now show up as a "regular" dividend that would be applied to the backtest if you were still "trading" that symbol just before the completion of Verizon's acquisition.
You can try reloading a chart for AABA.20191002.A to get the new data, but it's never a bad option to right click Wealth-Data and Delete Local Files to get all the updates. Do the same in the Event Providers section.

While testing our implementation of the feature request to Adjust Intraday Data for Granular Processing I found the following:
1. If you're using intraday data, even IQFeed, it's a very good idea to refresh it to make sure you have the best data possible. Check your IQFeed configuration and if you're loading intraday for "Regular Session Only", be sure to refresh/update all your Daily data first.
2. Below you'll see a ABNB Daily chart with 2/14/2023 as the penultimate bar. All EOD providers I checked have the same [bad] data for this bar - Yahoo!, IQFeed, Norgate, etc. - and even IQFeed.
However, if you look at the IQFeed intraday chart below, it's clear that a lot more trading took place above the 120.87 "EOD Close". I updated Wealth-Data EOD to include it. These are the kind of unpredictable "data issues" that will throw off a backtest!
UPDATE!
The issue is IQFeed intraday data - it's advanced by one hour (this day only), so we're actually seeing the post-market session trading for the last hour.

I'm still looking into this. After digging into it more, it appears to me that the IQFeed intraday data for this day is offset by one hour. The run up in prices actually occurred in the Post-market session.
This error is present using 1 and 5-minute intervals, but not with 15 or 30-minute intervals.

I am glad for this post and the effort that Cone puts into cleaning up the data. This makes WealthData so valuable, because clean data matters.
Thanks Cone!
Thanks Cone!
SOXS and KOLD split last week and need to be adjusted. Thanks!
KOLD (and others like UVXY, SVXY, PSQ, SPUXU, and QID) were already adjusted. Refresh your charts if necessary for those.
We missed SOXS (occurred on Monday), so I'll apply it now (thanks) - done.
