Hello,
will there be a question and answer webinar about learning C#? Or maybe a weekly webinar how to improve coding skills or something like that. Or even a separate block above it.
Because that's a lot of work and requires a lot of patience, I can imagine the whole thing in combination with the annual subscription + teaching C#.

There's a whole industry that produces gazillion of C# educational courses, webinars and books. Do you think it would benefit the product if the resources of our small team were dispersed to create one more, even a specialized one?
Yes, I think so.
I know the industry is full of books and so on. But not especially for trading and there trading libraries. And I think learning in teams is more productive.

I think this is a good idea and we consider it among some other plans. In the mean time you might try to work with drag and drop and get it "translated" into C# code.
Personally I think the drag and drop strategies can be so powerful - but of course there are limits that can only be handled from real programmers.

mrsic, what time would be good for you to attend our webinar?
Hi Glitch,
I signed up for tomorrow's webinar with Volker at 3 p.m MEZ

Oh, I think we are going to have to postpone that one due to conflicts, Volker will send out an updated invite for the next webinar soon, sorry about that!
OK. I can join your webinar next week from 08.00 - 14.00 MEZ from monday to friday.
I think it would be constructive to have a "learning page" on the website which would include:
1) Books and links about learning C#, which is integrated to .NET 6.0.
2) Books and links about about learning stock trading.
If anything, the links would help with your SEO (search engine optimization) by getting your website better connected and improving your page rank.
The link below
https://www.wealth-lab.com/blog/anatomy-of-a-wl7-strategy
is an excellent example of controlling variable scoping via declarations. But it assumes the reader understands threading and how it relates to scoping. These are "advanced concepts" of a programming language. Probably a special video discussing the "visibility of variables" to threads should be produced and a link to that video can be embedded on the anatomy-of-a-strategy page.
Wealth-Lab is a highly powerful simulation language, but with that power comes complexity. Non-programmers could easily become overwhelmed.

Books and videos are good. I use both, but if you get stuck you need help from a professional. The combination of books, videos, life teaching and doing greatly enhances the learning process.
In the books and videos, the C# language is learned by using the Microsoft libraries. The application to Wealth Lab is another. Here the libraries of WL must also be learned. And not to forget, everything is in english.
To me it would have made more sense to do this at the same time to save time and increase the learning curve. I first got introduced to C# through Wealth Lab. So it would make sense to learn that here from the forum both at the same time.
