Greetings

I downloaded the trial license a few days ago...

I have already been able to create my first strategies...one question...

Is it possible to use a kind of market traffic light as an entry criterion in a building block strategy?

The basic requirement for entering a strategy should be that the SPY is above its GD 200. Is this possible in the building block or do you have to code for it?

Many thanks for the answer

Sure, here are the steps:
1. Add a "Indicator Compare to Indicator" condition to the entry rule (Buy At ..).
2. The first indicator is Close and the second is GD(200).
3. Finally, to apply that condition to another symbol, like SPY, drop "Indicator Symbol" from the Qualifiers folder (last group) on the condition you just created.

Thank you for your answer

I can't do anything with point 3, do I have to do that in the code?

Could you send me the code for this?

Thank you

No code required. Drop the "Indicator Symbol" condition (see Qualifiers group) onto the condition rather than an Entry/Exit block itself a qualifier block does not apply to.

You don’t have to use code. Use the QUALIFIER Building Block like Cone suggested.

Phew, could someone send me a screenshot of this?

You can attach a screenshot of what you're seeing but it'd be far easier if you simply scroll down to Qualifiers.
