You’ll need to recreate them manually in Wl8 by copying and pasting the symbols.

I need to transfer the files themselves, not just the tickers. Can I do it?

What's the point? Classification Groups like in WL6 don't exist.

We have these Yahoo World Indices, is this what you're looking for?

@Glitch, there was another aspect of it besides the world indices: a GICS like breakdown of US stocks by sectors.

GICS was provided by Fidelity so we don’t have that any longer.

Yes for WLP6. With regard to WL6's Yahoo/MSN providers, the sector/stock pair "dictionaries" (aka CGs) had been built by parsing the source websites on our backend side while possible (and later they broke or withdrew the facility).

The poster needs to subscribe to Norgate data. It carries all this breakdown by GICS sector and industry.

In addition, Norgate includes the time series of each GICS industry individually, so you can compare a given stock's performance relative to its industry over time for backtesting.
