When we subscribe to a strategy from WealthSignals, we specify the amount of the account that we intend to allocate to the strategy. The order quantities are then calculated based on that amount.

Then, in Wealth-Lab, one can use the WealthSignals Trader to download the signals for the strategy. The various signals will have the quantity set according to the information received from WealthSignals; which in turn was based on that initial capital allocation.

However, I might be interested in changing the account value dedicated to that strategy; or even use the same strategy with a couple of different accounts.

Can we have a bit more control of the money management, to allow for entering a different value, without using a side calculator and editing the signals one by one?

Sounds like while duplicating the initial capital, such control may cause undesired side effects when it comes to corporate actions.

In the event that becomes a highly requested feature, what form do you see this sizing control take? A percentage of the WealthSignals size?

Since the signals are assigned to an account, it seems reasonable that a sizing control could be associated with it. Then you could apply a fixed size or percentage of the account value.

Anything that would make it easier to change the signal quantity received from Wealth-Signals, would improve the process.

For example, having an extra field for the $ value of the signal, which could be edited (for limit orders it's easier; for market ones, the previous closing price would probably have to be considered - which might be a problem since the WS API probably only returns the price for limit orders).

Another nice to have would be: double-clicking the signal automatically brings up the "Edit Signal" window. At the moment, we need to right-click, and then select the 2nd option from the 5-option list. This alone, would already make the current process a bit faster and more convenient.

Since the control behind WS Trader and Strategy window is unified, a double click on the signal should do the same action for both: bring up the signal chart.

When I double-click the signals, from the WealthSignals Trader, nothing happens...
Maybe that works differently for someone that actually published the strategy - in which case, they would indeed have the code and the signals appearing on the chart.

True, WS Trader doesn't have a chart, we should be able to route the double click to the Edit Signal.

That would be nice.

Thank you!

I noticed that this was implemented in B49.
Thank you very much!
