While WL8 is maximized - unable to show the Windows taskbar. The taskbar is configured to auto-hide and pop up when moving the mouse cursor to the bottom.
It works normally when WL8 is not maximized.

Hmmm, is this Windows 10 or 11? I'm seeing that in my Windows 11, if I auto-hide the taskbar and maximize WL8, I'm not seeing the issue. The task bar shows itself normally when I move the mouse to the bottom. I wonder if this is Windows 10 specific.

I'm still on Win 10, and it's the same for me. On the monitor (m1) with WL8 maximized, the Win Task bar won't appear, however, on my other monitor (m2) the task bar will appear while WL8 is max'd on (m1).

If I simulataneously put a second max'd WL8 window on (m2), the task bar will "unhide" on (m2). It doesn't matter which instance (the original or new main) of WL8 is on (m2) - the Windows Task bar always works on m2.

To answer Glitch's Q, It also happened while I was on windows 10.
Any other maxed window (ex., browser) will allow the taskbar to pop when moving the mouse to the bottom. The way I work around it is by Alt-tab.

Any other "non-WPF" maxed window. Unfortunately, this is a known flaw in WPF.
