Is there any way to unpublish a strategy? I was testing the feature and didn't realize these published strategies would show up in everyone's strategy WL.com strategy list.

The way to get it unpublished is to request it either here or via email.

Just thinking out loud: premoderation could help avoid this support case as these purely for-testing-purpose strategies won't even leave the sandbox.
Pre-moderation would be probably more work than to remove strategies upon request.
