The server isn't returning data for that symbol. There is no error in the request. Other symbols work fine: SPX, $DJI, $TICK, etc.

Keep in mind that the API available to clients like Wealth-Lab is not the same as that used by ThinkOrSwim.

That said, did you download data for $ADID before? What other symbols are affected?

$ADID is the difference of Dow Jones Industrials Advancing Issues – Declining Issues.

Wealth-Data does not provide the data for such market sentiment symbol yet. How about using Index-Lab to build this index on your own? It's simple:

Okay, but we're trying to discover why TD Ameritrade doesn't return this data, which is available in ThinkOrSwim.

All market sentiment data for each of the exchanges downloaded data until Sept 15 or 16 after that something changed. Only two symbols $ADD and $UVOL are current all other sentiment data like $DECLI $DVOLI $ADSPD ect do no longer update

You can tell them that requests for those symbols using this request is not returning data - https://api.tdameritrade.com/v1/marketdata/{symbol}/pricehistory

Alex_A: Good morning, I do see these are updating through thinkorswim, for assistance pertaining to an API partner if you havent already, we suggest contacting WealthLab. If they are unable to assist, then you would be able to email API@TDAmeritrade.com for assistance on our API.

You’ll need to send an email to that API address. ThinkOrSwim uses a different service than their API uses. You can also actually run the API requests through their web site too, to help document the failure for the problematic symbols.

It's not a problem or a misunderstanding of the API. I've looked at this in depth. The issue is that the TDA server does not return data for those symbols now when requested here - https://api.tdameritrade.com/v1/marketdata/

In this case, we can be 99.9% sure the problem is not on our end.

I know. I’m suggesting giorgio can use the TD API web site to issue the requests and offer proof of the failure in his email.

@Cone
Sure, was suggesting Index-Lab in case it turns out that the data interruption at TDA is a breaking change made on purpose.

@giorgos

As we determined in another topic, the symbology at TDA has changed:
