I started receiving the below error since the last TDA update. It still submits and receives the orders along with account info, so not sure why I am getting an error too.

This is just telling you that a connection error occurred in response to the request for live orders. Although I'd agree it's could indicate a problem if it persists, but I'm not seeing it.
I suspect that you've activated Advanced Features for your account. I'll post our guidance from the Help > Extensions > TD Amertrade:
Important!
TD Ameritrade has an Advanced Features setting for accounts that gives an account Portfolio Margin, Futures and Forex trading, and more. However, Advanced Features must be turned off to get the following functionality in Wealth-Lab through the API:
○ Real time order status updates
○ OCO (and other conditional orders)
