On WL6, the symbol will stay with the strategy window. So that when you switch back to the strategy window from the other window, the symbol will change back to the one last run with that strategy window.
On WL8, the symbol will stay the last time selected regardless of the strategy window.
This is very annoying when I'm switching strategy windows back to back with different symbols.

Rename
Since each window actually does have it's own symbol, I don't follow what you're describing.
Let say you open two strategy windows from the same strategy on the Strategies tab.
Now you have two strategy windows, left and right.
Then open DataSets tab.
You activate left strategy window and you select Symbol A.
You activate right strategy window and you select Symbol B.
You activate left strategy window and you want to select Symbol B but Symbol B has a focus already.
In order to select Symbol B for left strategy window, you have to select something once, then you can select Symbol B.

By the way, when I activate a strategy window, the window title doesn't highlight.
This is also confusing which window is active for which symbol.

The symbol in the DataSets tab, ok. That's U.I., let's see what Glitch thinks about it.
The thing about it is that WL8 is not married to symbols in the DataSet tree. It's just a way to populate the Symbol field in the Strategy Settings.
