I used the strategy monitor on a strategy I built and it ran fine the other day, now the past two days I tried to manually run the strategy with the strategy monitor and it runs then deactivates with zero buy signals given. I then right click it and select open in a new strategy window and it opens fine and I click back test with no problems and lots of buy signals. I have removed the strategy from the monitor window and replaced it several times. I also tried it with other strategies and none of them give any signals. It is like there is a disconnect somewhere with the Strategy monitor.

Here is the log after it runs the history for the symbols:
2/24/2024 21:21:29: Running Now
2/24/2024 21:21:29: Status = Idle
2/24/2024 21:21:29: Status = Processing
2/24/2024 21:21:31: Ran Strategy on PANW,FICO,PATH...(long list of symbols): 0 Signals, Run Time=721ms
2/24/2024 21:21:31: Status = Deactivated
2/24/2024 21:21:31: Status = Completed
2/24/2024 21:21:31: Processed all Symbols
2/24/2024 21:21:31: Status = Deactivated
2/24/2024 21:21:31: Leaving Streaming Thread

So Run Now is not producing signals but right click -> "Open in S.Window" does (not talking about backtest trades)?

That is correct Eugene, the right click open in S. Window does produce signals, but no signals produced while in Strategy monitor. Thanks Cone, will make that adjustment.

Here I tried it with Knife Juggler since it has lots of signals every day and I got the same results of no signal created with S.Monitor and 75 signals created in the strategy window.

The data is updating to 20240223, so that's correct.

The only thing that jumps out at me is that you've selected "Basis Price: Market Open next Bar" in the Strategy Settings, it doesn't preclude Signals, but you can't trade that way except with Alpaca. Even so, why would you select that with a Limit order Strategy?

Which WealthLab Build Number are you using?

Thanks I think you found the issue I changed it to use market close basis price (I didn't understand the meaning behind that, but it makes sense now though) then had to save and restart Wealth Lab. I did update to build 81 last night. Thanks for your help!

Well it worked for a day, then it stopped creating signals again. It is doing the exact same thing as before. I still have Basis Price: Market close this bar, but no signals are being generated in the S.Monitor yet they are with right click open strategy. I turned it on to auto trade in a dummy account and it worked Mon then stopped producing buy signals even though it is supposed to create signals everyday.

This is Daily? Have you tried using Polling instead of Streaming?

Yes daily, I tried it the other day when I first had this issue and I just tried it again today and same result of 0 signals.
