I run the strategy monitor each day when the market has just closed.
Is it normal that the Signal date is always the date of yesterday?

For example today (16. october 2024) I got this:

As you can see, the signal date is 15.10.2024 but should be 16.10.2024?

It looks like you're not giving enough time for the data provider to have updated the data? Open a chart for the symbols being processed, and see what the last bar of the chart is. Make sure to run the SM only when the last bar is the expected date.

I have this simple RSI strategy and I'm using Norgate data:

When should I run the Strategy Monitor? After market closed (so after 3:30 pm US marketplace time) or at morning before market opens (so 9:30 am US market place time)?
Of course I would just run before the Norgate data updated and restart WealthLab app (I guess its needed?).

You need to run it at any time after the provider of your data has updated the data for the close of the last session - and before the open of the next.

If you're using Norgate, I think their first update pass doesn't occur until about 6pm - 2 hours after the close.

The U.S. Stock Market closes at 4:00 PM EST.

There's a Schedule hyperlink in the lower right corner of the Norgate Updater. Click that for more accurate information. It looks like 6pm might actually be the second pass (maybe with corrections). You should give it 10 or 15 minutes after the update time to be sure the update has completed.
