Hello,
I am confussed with the indicator compare to value. The value refers to a share when you trade shares. That means, if I am using "less than 30", that means, Only shares below 30 will be using.

But I am looking for any kind of prices, If the SMA is +- 1.5 below or above the SMA for entry.

I tried the Keltner channel, I can't find a mid band there. Just the same problem with the less than 30 related to a stock value in my case. This makes no sense for me. Why should the keltner channel make sense for a certain value?

Does anyone have an idea how I can build the sma with the atr +-1.5 up or down for the entry, and that for a whole portfolio without a specific value?
I thought that it would go with the Keltner channel using the ATR. Thanks.

Hi,

The only way to accomplish this in Blocks it to create a Custom Indicator. So please find your question answered in this topic: Buy when Close is above MA +/- ATR factor in Blocks?

This is becoming a common request so I created a new Transformer Indicator to handle this, MathIndATR. It applies a transformation (like adding or subtracting) of the specified number of ATRs to any indicator. Once Build 19 is released you'll be able to use this to handle getting 1.5 ATRs above or below the SMA:
