To run WL8 premium with extensions without problems (at least from the cpu).

I guess it depends on what you are planning to do. If you plan to use intra day data and do a lot of optimisation, I suggest you take the best you can get and minimum 32GB RAM. WL8 will run on smaller configuration but time is of essence here. ;)
I run mainly EOD data test but I do quite some WFO (walk forward optimisation) and my specs are good enough. Here they are:
