Are you saying you don't see SymbolInd in the list? Also, you can just start typing "Symbol..." and the field will start filtering to what you type.

I can not but support you in that all the new concepts like SymbolInd with their naming can indeed increase your learning curve. But as Glitch said we're here to help you. And you can trust us, this is done to keep the GUI clean and organized. It would be tempting to add hundreds of Blocks like in WL6, thus congesting the GUI. However, the WL8 way is to use just a few tools (indicators) to make those hundred things in Blocks instead.
