Hi,
I would like to know if WL 7 supports eSignal, or IG marktes as data providers?
If not, which is the best mainly for european equities?
As well, I have WL4 strategies that I would like to convert. Any solution for that or I even do not mind to hire someone to do the job, as I'm not a programmer . Have you any contact?

Thanks so much,
Best regards,

Hi,

If these data vendors have a modern API (e.g. .NET, REST) we could consider building a data provider. That would require a feature request and sufficient community following by WL7 subscribers.

P.S. I don't think it's appropriate to discuss the translation of WL4 strategies for somebody who hasn't been a WL4 customer? In addition, it would be offtopic in this thread.

Don’t think it necessarily needs a modern API. After all I just completed the CSI connection which uses COM, and IQFeed still uses low level sockets!

Thanks for the answer.
Could you please provide a list of data providers for European equities?

Eugene, I do not understand why you think I was not a WL4 customer. I was indeed, and can provide invoice. I just only ask how to translate to WL7, as I would like to have the full picture before buying the licence

Thank you,
Best,

Your account being brand new and the sales stopped over a decade ago, that's what's confused me. I stand corrected: you were a WL4 customer. Sorry.

You can find answer to your data question in other topics such as:

https://www.wealth-lab.com/Discussion/Is-Euronext-equity-data-possible-6211

As for strategy translation, let's start a new topic for this question.

As Eugene suggested, we could consider building adapters for these if it became a popular feature request.

Interactive Brokers would work, but if you need a lot of intraday histories, it would take time to build them from IB due to data throttling.
