I noticed that for WL dataset, there are exact dates for delisted symbols. For Norgate, seems the exact delist date is not available and only month is used. How does WL process such delisted symbols in backtesting since the exact date of delisting is not there.
Rename
The date in delisted symbols serves only to create a unique name since symbols are often reused. A symbol also doesn't tell you when or how many times it entered an index or even which indices it's is or was a part of. That data comes from the DataSet Provider.
By the way, you too can create your own Dynamic DataSets by specifying date ranges in the DataSet Wizard tool.
