Just wondered if it was only possible to connect to IB using TWS? Or is it possible to connect using IB Gateway instead? Thx

Yes, you can use IB Gateway instead of IB TWS.
Glitch was probably thinking of the Client Portal API, which is on the wish list and wouldn't require either of those.
