Is there a way to install WL8 on two computers using the same virtual directory location?
Wouldn't locating all the WL8 files in a virtual folder on something like Windows OneDrive, make the mirroring that was mentioned in one thread just happen automatically?
Can this be done?

Installation and the User Data directories are 2 different things.

First. There's no need to "share" an WealthLab installation. Just install WL on both computers normally (to the C:\Program Files...).

Next, you can share the User Data directory, by copying the WealthLab User Data directory (C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Roaming\WealthLab8\) to a share and assigning it from File > Set Data Folder Location... on both instances of WealthLab.

Lastly, I wouldn't recommend One Drive because it's often too slow to update (in my experience).

Does google drive work better? Or dropbox?

I've never used the Set Data Folder feature, but regarding synchronizing updates for different client, everything is faster than OneDrive in my experience.
