ENDPQ should be removed from S&P500 list on the date it was delisted, correct?

ENDPQ was replaced by MCHP in the Nasdaq 100 in the session after 2016-07-15 and by REG in the S&P500 on 3/1/2017. It's still "ticking" so we don't treat it as "delisted", therefore it doesn't have a delisted date in the symbol.

The "Q" designation in ENDPQ indicated ENDP was removed/delisted from nasdaq on August 26 when it declared bankruptcy. It was endp prior to declaring that and now trades on OTC.

Should this not be ENDP.mo.date.yr when it became delisted on August 26, 2022? And endpq should not be in The S&P500 dataset any longer?

The symbol is immaterial. You can verify by checking the participants list in a Strategy's PreExecute() that ENDPQ has NOT been in the S&P 500 since the date specified above.

Re: symbol is immaterial
Technically you're correct - Endo hadn't met Nasdaq listing requirements long before it was actually moved to the pink sheets. As I was saying, we don't typically "delist" a symbol until it stops trading or is reconstituted. At that time, we'll change the symbol to its last traded date, and in this case add the "C".

You can be sure that the backtest for the Wealth-Data S&P 500 will not change - no matter what the symbol is or even when it stops trading (because it was removed long ago).

I am asking as it is still showing up and just last week showed up as a buy in my strategy that utilizes the S&P500 wealthdata set. I deleted all data and reloaded and its still there.

From what you are saying it should not be showing as an active ticker this last week and producing buy/sell signals from an S&P500 dataset during backtests after the date it was removed, only the current S&P500 tickers should be producing signals. However, my strategies are still including that ticker as of this last week.

1. You're showing me a DataSet of all Wealth-Data symbols that have ever been included in the S&P 500. ENDPQ is one of them. This is correct.

2. Where did I say it should not be showing as an active ticker? I'm pretty sure I said just the opposite.

Correct. If you run a strategy on the Wealth-Data S&P 500 DataSet, ENDPQ will only be available from 1/28/2015 to 3/1/2017.

Show me. What does it mean that your strategies are still including that ticker?
