Hello,

I'm trying to run a ES futures backtest and I'm using the "hourofday" indicator to specify the morning hours 5-9. It's not generating anything. What am I doing wrong?
If I remove the indicator, it works fine.

Let's see the chart you're working with. Attach an image that includes the chart and shows the time in the X-axis.

1. You're using IQFeed, so you need to set up the contracts in Markets & Symbols.
2. And, since IQFeed data is always EST, you need to create a market for "CME EST" by making a copy of the CME market and changing the hours like this:

3. I recommend you add these symbol records and assign it to your CME EST market.

Then, try again.

It does work.

4. You might need to refresh you're cached symbol data after these changes.
You can do that for each symbol from the chart window, right click, and Reload... Or from the Data Manager > Historical Providers > right click IQFeed > Delete Local Files.
