Are updates included in the lifetime licenses for extensions ?
Is there a limited duration for receiving updates?
Thanks

We don’t offer a lifetime license.
Probably you're referring to the comment in the first WLU video, ""if you'd like to be set up with a lifetime license, just let us know".. This was an off-handed comment about the 2000+ days showing in "my subscription".
We can probably come up with a price for a "lifetime subscription" but it would be so high that it would make no sense for anyone to buy it when you can get WealthLab and all in-house extensions for only $399 per year.
If you're coming from Wealth-Lab 6, annual subscriptions for WealthLab 8 cover the v6 maintenance fee automatically.

I think that topic starter simply meant to ask whether his purchased extensions stop getting updates after (say) a year or continue receiving them if he decides to renew his WL8 subscription. IMO, the confusion comes from this being a business practice for some companies in the sector.
In this sense, there is no "limited duration for receiving updates". You can have all of your purchased extensions up to date for as long as your WL8 subscription remains active.

In case you are talking about individual extensions which come with a one-time-fee for a lifetime license:
Yes, these will be supported (and updates included) as long as the base product (and the extension developer) exist.
Thanks Eugene and DrKoch. Those were the answers, I was looking for.
