It works fine to put focus on a chart and type a new symbol, but typing a symbol into the "abyss" when the chart toolbar is hidden is disconcerting.
Options:
1. Make a hidden toolbar visible when there is text in the symbol box?
2. Or, do it like WL6:

We already have a toolbar that displays the symbol, I don't think we need a brand new UI just for this case. Let's just show the existing toolbar (with symbol) until the user presses enter.

When showing the existing toolbar, could you include the existing symbol (in a highlighted color?) being currently displayed in there too. Of course, one should be able to replace that symbol with another to display at any time.
The problem is the watermark symbol on the price pane isn't always clearly visible.
