Neither auto-trading with MT4 nor streaming data is supported. What is possible though is import historical data in the MT4 file format with the Forex extension

That's a shame, coz MT4 allow traders to trade in Micro Lots. Micro lots may looks small with just one trade, but if you start building a portfolio of G7 currencies and all their possible crosses the total position can be too massive for Mini Lots.
Quite possibly, but the demand for it has been Micro so far 🤷♂️
One form of diversification is to trade many markets. With 5 lots of Mini in 5 markets/instruments, you can trade 50 lots of Micro in 50 markets/instruments. Its lots of markets to handle but thats what algo is for. Just my thoughts.
Does MT4 offer an API for their streaming data? If so, then we could develop an integration for WL8.
