Is it possible to have this condition search for only (for example) the x lowest (or x highest) qualifiers during a backtest?
Rename
Yes, you can specific Maximum Entry Signals in the Position Sizing control.
@Glitch
I think the question from "Neverlong" was perhaps meant differently:
Example exit:
In my existing portfolio there are 10 positions that were bought using transaction weight (example: the 10 positions with the highest RSI from the Nasdaq 100 were bought)
A position should only be sold if one of the previously purchased positions has fallen to position 30 in the RSI ranking of the Nasdaq 100.
In this respect, it would be great if the “Transaction Weight” indicator could be used for this. Currently I can only set the highest or lowest values. Isn't it possible to improve the indicator to give a percentage value?
"Sell position when stock no longer belongs to the 30% of the highest position of the index.
a good or bad idea?
Or is there another way to sell a position via ranking calculation?

Sounds like an interesting idea, I added the #FeatureRequest tag!
@Glitch
many thanks for your response. what does this “FeatureRequest tag” mean? Does a developer then look at whether this is feasible? Should I clarify what I mean again with an example? How can you as a customer even make suggestions for improvement? Do you generally do this here in this discussion forum or with an email to support?

Items tagged with #FeatureRequest are things users would like to see added to the platform. They appear in a Wish List page where we try to work on the items that garner the most votes.
You are welcome to add as many examples or additional information as you like to help us understand what you'd like to see included in the development.

@Glitsch
thanks
thanks
@Glitsch
Shouldn't I add this whole scenario as a NEW tag as FeatureRequest# and Strategy#?
What I have written about it is somewhere in a history now, from my point of view it would be a huge and important improvement of Wealth Lab
What actually happens in this Wishlist? How is it processed and by whom, please?
Thank you

We have many users and every one of them has their own features they feel are the most important. The product and wish list is worked on by our small team of three developers including me. The wish list is a way to manage an impossible problem of catering to everyone’s individual desire.
The items that received the most votes tend to get implemented sooner.

ok, understood...so may I tag it again and explain it in detail?
Thank you for explaining it and sharing your idea in Post #2. This topic is an already registered feature request.
