When you have requests like this you should mark them with the #FeatureRequest tag so they go into the Wish List here on the site. I can add the tag when I get back to the computer.

I will say though that’s it’s a ton of work to clean and maintain a WealthData dynamic DataSet, especially getting the data for all of this delisted symbols, and compiling the schedules that symbols went into and out of the index. But I agree it would be a great addition.

Thanks for the response. The reason I wanted the S&P 400 Midcap was that this would represent a dataset with greater volatility and larger potential upside.

According to Wikipedia, there were 300 composition changes to the S&P 400 in the last 7 years alone:

We could look into adding S&P 400 to the WorldIndices datasets provided this request gets sufficient demand.

Let's wait for the Norgate WL7 Provider. They have ALL the major indices - including the Russell's.

Just in case and since it was a moderate effort, the S&P 400 is added to World Indices. WL7 caches these DataSets for 7 days so you may not notice it immediately.*

* Or you can delete this file and restart WL7 to apply:
c:\Users\Windows username\AppData\Roaming\WealthLab7\WorldDataSets\WorldDataSets.xml

Eugene,

I must be missing something here. The S&P 400 is not included in that file.

Vince, I see. The classification will be updated tomorrow on the website and the S&P 400 will reappear.
