I use WL 8 (106) and Binance Extension (37). My trading system involves entering short positions. But I can't enter a short position either manually or using the trading system. It gives the error "Binance Broker: Error Placing Order: Account has insufficient balance for requested action". At the same time, entering and exiting a long position proceeds normally.
At the same time, the possibility of margin trading in the Binance account is open, there are enough funds on the margin account to enter a short, in the API settings there is a tick "Enable Margin Loan, Repay & Transfer". The only thing I noticed is that when Configure the Binance broker in WL, you cannot select a margin account, only spot is indicated in the drop-down list.
Has anyone encountered this, please help me solve the issue of entering a short.

Glitch may know more about it, but I think we'll have to take a Feature Request for a margin option for Binance.
I see that there was previously a margin option that was deprecated. We'll need to investigate if it's possible to revive it.

Hi Cone! Thanks for the reply. How long might this take? It would also be useful to include the ability to trade futures in the Binance Extension. Many of my colleagues trade crypto on the futures market.
There’s a roadblock because Binance.US does not offer margin trading, so we currently have no way to develop and test against this. We’ll see if vk can open a Binance account from Germany so we can move forward with it.
