This is a newbie question but any help is appreciated.

Whenever I click activate for one of my scripts in the strategy monitor, and I have it set to 1-minute streaming, why does it activate for a second and then instantly deactivates? And how do I make sure to know it will activate during market hours?

There should be a good clue in the Log. What's showing there?

there's no exception in the exception log, but there is a red alarm clock symbol.

The red alarm clock symbol means that the strategy has generated some signals. Anyway, what's in the Strategy Monitor log at the bottom right?

Hi Eugene and Cone, Disregard my last response. Here is the log after I press the activate button. I am trying to activate it with streaming data at a 1 minute refresh rate.

What is the streaming data provider? What happens when you open a 1-min streaming chart of this provider (note the vendor name printed at the bottom of the status bar)?

I think its TD Ameritrade as my streaming provider if I'm correct.

This image above shows it on a daily refresh rate. But the image below shows an error when I try to implement a 1 minute refresh rate on the streaming chart.

It seems that your having trouble getting intraday data from any source, which is also the reason the Strategy Monitor is deactivating.

1.. What messages are in Tools > Log Viewer?
2. Is TD Ameritade checked in Data Manager > Historical Providers?
3. What's the status of WealthLab's TD Ameritrade log in?

Show us your configuration in Data Manager, Historical Providers tab, you’ll need to enable an intraday Provider.

@Cone for your questions:
1. I had trouble viewing the log viewer window, but it says that TD Ameritrade is connected
2. I just checkedmarked TD Ameritrade as a Provider, but I did that after your suggestion, so it wasn't previously checkmarked.
3. TD Ameritrade has sent orders based on strategy with a daily refresh rate, so I think its ok.

@Glitch Here are the configuration images you requested. And remember, I had just checkmarked TD Ameritrade as a data provider after Cone suggested it to me this morning.

So TDA was excluded from symbol lookup. All the other checked data providers above it (3) are purely EOD data providers. Thus, they couldn't be used to deliver intraday data to the SM in principle. Case closed.
