Hi, I have a question. I've now entered the FRED API key for the Indicator Ranking feature. Do I still need to activate anything else? I'm still getting an error message saying it can't access FRED data.

I can't open the Indicator Selection Database either. I get an error message right away.

I know what FRED is, but since I don't know where you'd enter a "FRED API Key" I have to ask, "where did you do that and are you using WL8?" WealthLab's FRED indicator is working fine, and without an API key.

What's the error message and what Indicator Selection Database are you talking about? This is a new term for me.

Are you using a finantic extension? That could explain a lot. Be specific please.

Edit - after a little research, indeed these are terms associated with finantic.IndicatorSelection.
I'll make that clear in the title to get Dr Koch's attention.

FRED was promoted from DataExtensions to WealthLab Core. Finantic Indicator Selection might require a new build to adapt to this change, Rene will work on it when he's back.

Dr. Koch, I have the same problem like MrMiyagi328. Have you solved the problem, or is there a workaround so that I can use Indicator Selection Database?

For me, the problem still hasn’t been fixed. I even contacted support. I just have to live with it. 😂

Check the version of WealthLab you're running in the upper left corner. If it's not 133, I recommend that you uninstall and re-install WealthLab from the download.

Re: re-install
I'm only aware of 2 cases that re-installing WealthLab helped, and one happened to me a few weeks ago. No matter how many times I upgraded the installation, it kept running an older version, 124 I think. I couldn't get out of that cycle until I reinstalled.

@Dr. Koch: can you please fix the issue with the Indicator Selection Database or give any advice for a workourand. I cant use the extension for months.
