Hello,

I am at an impasse in getting the latest quarter earnings from Zack (as shown in the graph below as an example) and was wondering if you might be experiencing the same.

I have WL7 build 53 and the latest extensions, and of course all datasets including Zack are updated.

I can confirm the same problem with WL8 Build 12, Fundamental extension Build 5. Zacks earnings report for 7/22/2022 is missing for VZ. But for many other ticker symbols, Zacks earnings reports is working okay.

I've noticed the same thing (missing Zacks earnings reports) for some ticker symbols for WL6 as well.

Also adding that the problem does not exist in WL6, and it still can successfully get and update all the latest "Zack" earnings

Zacks, not "Zack".

Cannot reproduce the issue in WL8. Could be some temporary condition. In the Data Manager > Event Providers > highlight Zacks and choose "Delete local files", then update Zacks data or reopen the chart.

Double checked with different region settings and Zacks earnings work for me perfectly. Must be a data glitch on your end.

I tried that, but it didn't help for VZ. But most other stock tickers report earnings just fine. So is there some error that's being thrown that's not showing up in the error log? If so, how can I fix that so the error does show up in the error log?

I'm in the US in the CDT time zone (Central Daylight Time). I can't imagine why that would make a difference.

It may make a difference and explain why the data is returned correctly for me and not for you and Shaaker.

So Shaaker is also in the CDT time zone? But the earnings data is returned for the 4/22/2022 date, just not the 7/22/2022 date. That's kind of weird.

If you give me a URL, I can capture that webpage and email it to you. But as far as I know, this problem affects very few stocks. I wonder why VZ is special?

I tried, but now the event provider update is not updating all the symbols, and only updates a ticker symbol when it is opened in a chart. I opened charts for AMT, AAPL, and VZ as samples and so far it is showing the latest quarter earning:

I am in US Eastern time zone.

FWIW - I'm in EST and I am getting the last quarter for VZ.

I tried a "batch" (static) update for Zacks (free version) and now I get complete earnings for AMT, AAPL, and VZ. But earlier, when I did an on-demand update for the VZ Chart, the most recent earnings date (7/22/2022) was missing. Perhaps the on-demand update code is different than the static update code.

What really confuses me is why VZ is special?

The ToolTip for earnings is cutoff by the Price pane; see screenshot below. Really, the ToolTip could be placed over several panes; it doesn't have to be restricted to the Price pane.

update:

The problem is now resolved for me. It gets correct updates for both static and on-demand.

No it's not.

As it turns out, it was a temporary condition at Zacks' end.

Good news to hear, thanks for the update.
