I would like to see a YouTube video from WealthLab where a short strategy with a low drawdown is presented. The strategy should be of similar quality to the IBS strategy.
The advantages are clear:
With short selling, you hardly need any capital to start trading right away.
It nicely balances all long positions in case the market crashes overall.
The goal is a solid total return for the portfolio.

I’d love to see that too! Let me know if you have a candidate strategy, I haven’t found one 🤷🏼♂️
I guess the closest I’ve seen is shorting SQQQ using the 1% a Week logic.

If even the experts at WealthLab have not yet found a good short strategy, there is no real reason to be afraid of any drawdown or crash. Obviously, in the long run, you are always profitable with a long strategy, no matter the crash. However, it would still be more comfortable to have an additional short strategy as a mix so that you don’t stay underwater in a drawdown for too long. I will continue to investigate, maybe I will find one.
