Why are you using Yahoo for DAX? Why don't you use WealthData?
Yahoo is not "our data". It's a link to Yahoo! Finance data that we provide for convenience, knowing full well Yahoo data is not the best quality people still want to use it.

Don't jump to conclusion that early in the game. Explore the dozens of data vendors, including survivorship bias free data providers which didn't exist 20 years ago at the time of WL3. Or check out DrKoch's bestData solution which combines data form several providers to produce data with a very low error rate.
