When I run 2 strategies (one after each other) with 2 complete different datasets, it can take a while before all data is downloaded. It can be because there is data missing for many days or my internet connection is slow.
But when I wanna run a metastrategy with these 2 strategies, why it takes again that long (several minutes) before the data is downloaded?
It is already in the local folder, isn't?
This is not the only case. Backtesting a strategy is amazingly fast, but you need patient to have the data first.
FYI: wealthdata is first on my historical dataproviderslist, than IB, than yahoo.

It's probably because you have Event Providers enabled.
That can indeed be the cause. And I discovered something else: updating daily.
That will make the data retrieving faster i assume.
