When-you-log-in-from-inside-a-thread-return-to-that-thread

When I'm reading a thread if I forgot to log in and choose "Reply" it asks me to log in. When I do it returns me back to the home page and not the thread I was already in meaning I need to find it again. Most forums keep you on the page you launched from for the log in.
