For US stocks, what would be the best data provider to use in WealthLab for backtesting, and what would be the best for live streaming, either free or paid?

There is no single best data provider though we recommend IQFeed:

EODHD is a new competitor, check out the extension too. And this interesting development of 3rd party developer finantic:

Is IQFeed better than TwelveData?
For backtesting Historical DataSets like the Nasdaq 100, S&P 100 and S&P 500 with Daily data, Wealth-Data is best (several reasons - see www.wealth-data.com). For all data coverage and even more Historical DataSets, Norgate Data: https://www.wealth-lab.com/extension/detail/Norgate
For intraday and streaming, IQFeed, though I don't have experience with TwelveData. This article has more info: https://www.wealth-lab.com/blog/wealthlab-data-providers
