It is unfortunate that it is so late in European time. But I understand. I suppose that 80% or more of the WL users are originated in the US.
Yes, with users living all over the world someone is bound to get left out whenever we hold one of these. This is the first one we're holding that is friendlier to US users.
Good initiative.!!
Will it be recorded?
I'm thinking yes.
I hope so that the Europeans can give some feedback.
If you want you can change the time to late morning then the Europeans can participate?
We’ll keep the time as is this time and see how it goes.

So you'll see my midnight face...
Cant make it but hopefully all good news!:)
I am planning to be there!
Just to be sure:
6pm EST is 24:00h MEZ (Europe)
correct?
Background:
We don't have (several, different) time zones in Europe (just one spanning from Poland to Portugal)
That's why Europeans have sometimes trouble to handle them.

Yes get your midnight oil ready!!
I attended the WL Round Table last night - and it was quite a surprise.
Reading real names, seeing real faces and listening to real voices was quite nice.
And I was impressed what some user do with the software.

I am sorry. I just read the post. I missed it :-(

How about Sarasota? Much more peaceful here on the other Florida coast :)
As long as you pay for my flight over :)
@eralbanese Hasn't he already with your Wealth-Lab gainz?
Great to get to participate last night and meet everyone. I am so thankful I found Wealth-Lab!
I would like to mention that I did join the WL discord, so if anyone ever wants to chat or hang out in the voice channels, we definitely should.
I look forward to the next such event.

In the 11/28/2023 round table meeting, there was some thought about splitting the WealthLab application into two separate apps: 1) one for backtesting/simulation and 2) one for placing trades. I would suggest going the other way by making WealthLab more integrated with existing broker trading platforms via WCF (Windows Communication Foundation).
I would like to see the brokers provide more WCF hooks into the own trading platforms so WL could communicate with them better. Then WL could pass signals (alerts) to the broker's trading platform for further research before pulling the trigger.

I don't think we'll be able to dictate to brokers what kind of technology to use. Brokers are leaning more into REST APIs that rely on OAuth for authentication. WL8 will continue to adapt to whatever APIs brokers offer to connect for trading/data consumption.
