My virus scan report today detects a WL software - WEALTH-LAB DEVELOPER 6 (X64).MSI as a malware. Is this software component belonging to WL?

Yes, and I'd call that a false positive.
This is the Wealth-Lab 6 installer (64-bit) and false positives do happen. Better upload it to Virustotal to make sure it's alright and your AV just cries wolf:

The scan at Virustotal on multiple copies of the file all return clean.
