Yesterday (Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024) WL SM autoran strategies and placed trades with brokers. Two strategies are daily, set to run when market is open, and one is intraday scale. These were equities and options, not currency or crypto, US markets.

I don't remember WL autorunning on weekends? Is there a setting I should check?

If you run a strategy that will place an order for the next day, then sure it will generate signals. If you don't want the strategy to generate signals (for example if it already generated the signals for the start of next week) just don't run them on the weekend.

Placing the order is not the issue. It's the fact that my daily and intraday strategies auto-ran on Saturday. They're not supposed to auto-run on weekends, are they?

Strategies in streaming charts run whenever they're opened in a Workspace.

Strategies are not running in a streaming chart. They are running in the SM.

What time of day are the Daily runs scheduled?
Did WL restart?
Did you open a Workspace?

Even if the Daily runs were scheduled after market hours on the same day, the intraday run should have automatically scheduled the Next Run for Tuesday (Monday being a holiday).

The daily runs are scheduled 1 hour after market open (10:30 Eastern time).

Yes, I believe this happened after a restart of my computer, which of course, included a restart of WL. Both my daily and intraday strategies ran, and generated signals and orders. I have never seen this happen on a weekend before.

I was just looking for a confirm that there wasn't a setting I had wrong. I checked US market settings, and it was Weekdays only. I do *not* have "Autorun strategies when Workspace Opens" selected.

What about the other menu option, "Auto Reactivate Strategy Monitor when Workspaces Open?"

Yes, that one is enabled.

That’s why it’s running.
