Request that a Single Symbol Backtest that trades external symbols work like a Multi Symbol backtest when you click on a trade in the Positions view.
Specifically, if the symbol is not the primary symbol...
1. don't change the symbol in Strategy Settings,
2. don't run another Single Symbol Backtest,
3. load/show the current trades for the external symbol in the chart
Am I wrong to think that it could be simplified to never run a new Backtest when double clicking a Position in the Positions view? The devil's in the details, for sure.
