2. I have quite a few datasets using TD Ameritrade and my attempts to refresh all of these pull only a small number of tickers and then stops. No errors in Log Viewer. I am refreshing same datasets in WL7 and it pulls way more tickets - any way to troubleshoot it?

Of hand, I don't remember if TDA throttles data requests, but if they do, it might be important if you're updating WL7 and then doing it again with WL8.
For now, give us an idea of the number of symbols and scales so that we can try to duplicate it.

We actually throttle the requests (probably based on the API doc) to limit data requests to 120 per minute. If you exceed that, it may appear to "stop", but you just have to wait it out another minute until the throttle allows more requests to go through.

I was able to pull TD datasets individually rather than data for the whole provider at once. I had NASDAQ500 + SP500 datasets + ~200 ETFs
It's the throttle. You just have to wait, and it should work.
