The ability to update extensions and new builds is a nice feature. But, updates to extensions should be limited to those already installed to assure the current and complete version of the extension is being used - otherwise, the update process starts downloading extensions I don't want or need.

Just don't select the ones you don't want or need.

The idea is that you can easily install other extensions that you may like to try - that's an intended feature.

Perhaps you overlooked the right click options to select ALL or select ALL INSTALLED. If you don't want to update an Extension, simply don't select it. Not sure how much clearer we could have made this?

The ability to select extensions seemed to be limited to the ones for which updates were available. I checked that one (IB update), the others did not have a box to check or uncheck but were starting to download anyhow before I stopped by exiting.

You're right. I did not see the option to update only installed extensions.
