I just opened an account at Tradier and like to know if there are any instructions how to set a demo account (Sandbox?) ? I am guessing you need a token from them?
I look in this link but not sure it shows it.
I am getting this error placing orders. "Unexpected character encountered while parsing value"

Order Manager
> Select Tradier in upper left
> Configure...
> Click Sandbox Account
> Enter your Sandbox token
> Connect

Thanks. The instructions helped. But I am not able to send orders even tho they show in Order Manager but they don't show on the chart. I must be missing a setting. See image below.
BTW I have no problem with my Interactive Brokers account connection.

Are there any reported errors in the WL8 log (status bar at bottom?)

And, is this with a sandbox or live account?

So far I have tried in the SandBox paper account, I will try the live account later. The Buy and Short orders are sent to Tradier via WL8 ok, I can verify them in the Tradier Dashboard as sent. The Sell and Cover orders via WL are not sent at all I have to send the orders manually in Tradiers Dashboard. None of them are shown on the WL chart when executed.

Tradier (at least in Sandbox mode) is erroring out on sells, it's returning a "Resource not Found."

Since we didn't change anything at our end I'll email Tradier and see if they have anything to suggest for this.

OK we found the issue, in Sandbox mode at least, Tradier is lagging returning from an account/positions update call. We'll make some adjustments for the next build to get the sells working.

Thank you for following up. Did you try the sell and cover orders in Interactive Brokers? I was having the same issue. I have to use short as a sell order, at least IB allows you to short order a long position, Tradier does not.

I do this on a daily basis...always works instantaneously. We have dozens of IB users and this is the first I've even heard about it.

Please start a new thread on that issue with some evidence.

Is this issue covered on Build 77 or 78?

Update your Tradier extension to get the changes we made to address this. It would require also upgrading WL8 to Build 78.
