I waited to apply today's Tradestation update to check this potential issue.
When in DataManager--> Historical Providers --> Tradestation
When I run the update I am receiving a rate quota exceeded message on the bottom of the screen.
Their API can be aggressive sometimes with asking for too much data at once.
see attached. if it helps
On a different note, I LOVE how fast access is hanging directly on their API -- Great work!!

We're already throttling, but we'll have to try something else to avoid the rate error. Nonetheless, you can probably avoid it by just not updating all your TS data at once with the Data Manager. DM updates really are not required for WealthLab because whenever you need data, WL requests the update at that that moment - for backtests, charts, etc.
One scenario you might want to update all your data overnight is if you're planning on a large [intraday] backtest the next day.. so you don't have to wait for a big update at the moment you run the test.
