Not really a discussion but a thanks for putting this version of the DeMark Sequential together. I've seen quite a number of variations on the "Sequential" and I'd have to say yours is the best I'm seen. The automated system that goes along with it is icing on the cake.

Could someone show me how to disable the long and short side of this code so to be able to isolate the long and short signals in back testing?

No need to modify code. Go to Strategy Settings > Position Sizing and set Max Open Long/Short to -1.
