Hello! I am hoping you can help me solve this data problem using SymbolInd in my backtest. I am using MES as my main chart with SymbolInd (referencing ES) as part of a strategy. I have an IQ Feed paid subscription and real-time access to both indexes. I have specified @MESU25 and @ESU25, so there should be no problems with expired contracts or continuous contracts.
I ran a backtest on 6/16-9/3 (since rollover date), and my charts and indicators loaded fine, with the exception of SymbolInd, which plotted since 8/14 and before that displayed NaN. Suspecting bad data, I clicked to force the strategy to load new data, and now SymbolInd is loading properly since 7/29, and prior to that displays NaN.
The second time this occurred I got an error "Error getting history (@MESU25): The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\WealthLab8\IQFeed\TickDataStore
@MESU25_20250623.QXT' because it is being used by another process." I did not get any error the first time I ran the backtest, so I'm not sure if it's relevant?
