My problem is that there is missing data when I pull a symbol from binance. I would like to be able to fill that missing data.

I think I have figured out how.

In data manager have crypto compare above binance
Define a Symbol mapping like this in crypto compare to get the symbol names the same

BTCUSD=BTC.USD

my thinking is that when its pulling historical data and it finds the missing data since crypto compare is in front of binance it will snag it from there save it with the remapped symbol for future reference.

Does this make sense?

Picture for reference.

"Save it" where? These historical data providers and brokers aren't rewriting datasets. (And I don't think you want them to.)

I suppose you could write a custom dataset provider to rewrite (doctor?) a dataset. But why would you want to do that? Keep things as simple as possible.

If you want to pull from Binance or other, you need to use a different symbol than BTCUSD because WealthData will serve that one - for the Daily scale.
