After updating to build 37, all my strategies with symbol filter perform significantly worse at once than before. What's the problem?

The condition block "Symbol Filter" has been changed for the update (it would also be good to mention something like this in the build update in the future).

In every strategy where I previously used the "Symbol Filter", the update just canceled it out on the existing design surface.
(for me this change was easy to find, because I contributed to this update of the "Symbol Filter", because not every broker allows to short certain stock, so they were excluded here)

New is here the reverse logic:

This adjustment was necessary is therefore rather advantageous, because now you can explicitly exclude symbols from trading, which otherwise occur in a portfolio.

Where does it make sense? Well, whenever you trade long and short stocks and cannot use the same portfolio when short because the broker does not allow some stocks for short trading.

B36 introduces a new option (checkbox): "Reverse". This wasn't documented in the change log (fixed now). Sorry for the inconvenience but ironically, this was your request:

https://www.wealth-lab.com/Discussion/Exclusion-of-certain-shares-for-short-trading-9768

So, you checked "Reverse" and let the field empty (hence the template text remains) which makes no sense.

P.S. A side note. Suboptimal topic title: "Error in strategies after WL update build 38 - please be careful"...
Renamed to summarize the gist of the issue: "Symbol Filter in B37 produces unexpected results?"

Please consider this. Thanks.
