Hi,

After upgrading to IB connector version 6 I noticed the error attached, during trading. Rebooting the PC did not help. After reinstalling IB connector version 1 it started to work again.
Using WL 8 build 6

The thing that changed was to reject multiple connection attempts if they happen too quickly - there's a 30-second timeout after every attempt. This can probably be reduced.

TWS Startup and Login is a long process that usually takes nearly a minute or more. A some point we have to give up. For the best results, make sure TWS is running before you try to Connect.

You should definitely use IB Provider Build 6 for responsiveness and accuracy to account Position changes.

Yes, always make a habit of running WL after TWS is up and done with initialization.
I've used IB version 1 for a while and never had this issue.
Yes, I'm interested to try to newer IB (if working fine).

Are you having problems right now? It's not a good time to be testing it since IB does maintenance regularly on Saturday mornings.

Otherwise, if there are messages for IB in the Log Viewer, let me know what they are.

note my initial ticket - it happened during trading hours. Also, when switched back to IB version 1 it worked again.
