Hi Everyone,
In Strategy Monitor, can I ask what's the difference between a strategy which is activated vs one which is run?
It seems that the former just loads the data whereas the latter loads the data and generate the potential trade alerts for live trading?
Thank you,
pmbf

Activate will execute the strategy each time a new interval occurs, for example every 1 or 5 minutes. Run just runs it once immediately.
So I should just select activate for live trading, right?
Under what circumstance would run be selected?
Lastly, what does next run 7/18/2023 07:00:00 mean? I am based in GMT + 7.

For it to run automatically at the scheduled time, Activate. The computer needs to be running and not sleeping.
Run Now is to run it on demand. Maybe you didn't activate in time or your computer was off. Run Now to run it now.
Next run is your local time scheduled for the the next run. I see a Daily strategy there, so that's the time you put in the configuration.
