Did you forget to install the Data Extensions plug-in?

The Stock Scanner Dynamic DataSet has been improved, and it's now an actual DataSet Provider. You'll find it when you click to create a New DataSet. Unlike before, this means you can create MULTIPLE Stock Scanner Dynamic DataSets.

Great! That is a nice improvement.

Now if I can only make it work. I receive an "exception calling the service" with every session.

The good news is that it works for me so there's no breaking change.

For future reference, it would be helpful if you include the detailed error message from Log Viewer next time.

Let's have a look at your settings as the culprit is there. Can you choose "Open Wealth-Lab User Data Folder" from the File menu, go to DataSets there and email us all XML files of your Stock Scanner DataSets at support@wealth-lab.com? Thanks.

Did you get this message?
QUOTE:
"Exception calling Scanner service: The operation was canceled."

If so it's innocuous: the scan didn't return any result.

Hmmm, we should consider providing a more instructive message in case the scan returns no results? If I saw this message, I would assume there was "an exception", and that the scan request "was canceled" :D
